Sophie-Alice Chapman is a twenty three year old graduate who has recently completed her bachelors degree in photography. Sophie-Alice has studied photography at GCSE, level 3 extended diploma and bachelors degree level. Her interest in photography sparks from the loss of her father and how it helped her manage her depression, over the years she has developed her own style, shooting fashion based imagery, usually addressing themes based around modern day society such as, disabilities, mental health and the issues in our society today. Sophie-Alice completed her degree in June 2017, where due to meningitis she missed her graduation, Sophie-ALice fights daily with chronic illness, However She uses her photography as an escapism, it brings her immense enjoyment and allows her to express her self in a personal way in which she enjoys. Sophie-Alice is Currently planning to go back to university to complete her PGQE (post graduate qualification in education) to become and art & design teacher specializing in photography.
